GIVEN:-

AC=24cm

BE=9cm

E IS THE MID POINT OF BD

so, DE=BE

FIND:-

area of rhombus ABCD ?

SOLUTION:-

AC = 24 cm (given)

BD = DE + BE

BD = BE + BE (given)

BD = 9+9 cm (as BE = 9 cm)

BD = 18 cm

area \: of \: rhombus =  \frac{1}{2}  \times ( d_{1} \times  d_{2})

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 24 \times 18 \\  =  \frac{1}{ \cancel{2} } \times  \cancel{24} \times 18  \\  = 12 \times 18 \\  = 216 {cm}^{2}

so \: area \: of \: rhombus \: ABCD \: is \boxed{216 {cm}^{2} }
