Given :-

  • One Diagonal of Rhombus = 24cm
  • Ratio of two diagonal = 3:5

 \\

To Find :-

  • Area of Rhombus

 \\

Solution :-

⟾ Let the First Diagonal be 3x

⟾ Let the Second Diagonal be 5x

Given Condition :

⟶ 3x = 24

⟶ x = 24 / 3

⟶ x = 8

________________

Therefore :

  • 1st diagonal = 3x = 3 × 8 = 24cm
  • 2nd diagnal = 5x = 5 × 8 = 40cm

________________

Area of Rhombus :

➞ Area of Rhombus = ½ × D1 × D2

➞ Area of Rhombus = ½ × 24 × 40

➞ Area of Rhombus = ½ × 960

➞ Area of Rhombus = 480cm²

Thus Area of Rhombus is 480cm²
