use Pythagoras theorem.

H²= P² + B².

(5)² = (4.8)² + (B)².

25= 23.04 + B².

25-23.04 = B².

1.96 = B².

√1.96 = B

1.4 cm = B

the other diagonal is of 1.4 cm.

area of rhombus = 1/2 × ( d¹ × d²)

1/2 × (4.8 × 1.4)= 3.36

therefore, the area of the given rhombus is 3.36cm²
