Find the area of the right angled triangle if it's perpendicular is 60 cm and hypotenuse is 61 cm

by Pythagoras theorem ,

 {b}^{2}  = h {}^{2}  - p {}^{2}

b {}^{2}  = 61 {}^{2}  - 60 {}^{2}

b {}^{2}  = 3721 - 3600

b {}^{2}  = 121

b = 11

so, base = 11

area = 1/2*11*60

= 330
