total angle in circle = 360°

if angle subtended is 30° then

it 360°/30° = 12 means it is 12th part of a circle

area of segment = (total area of circle)/ 12

area of segment = πr²/12

area of segment= (22/7)×(14)² /12 cm²

area of segment = (22×14×14)/(7×12) cm²

area of segment = 22×(14/7)×(14/12) cm²

area of segment = 22×(2)×(7/6) cm²

area of segment = 22×2×7/6 cm²

area of segment = 22×7/3 cm²

area of segment = 154/3 cm²

area of segment = 51.33333 cm²
