circumference of circle=2.pi.r
=2 x 22/7 x14=22 x 4
hence arc is 1/4th part of complete circle
so, arc form 90degree angle (@)in center
now
area of segment=r^2 [pi.@/360-1/2sin@]
=r^2 [pi.90/360-1/2sin90]
=r^2 [pi/4-1/2]
=(pi.r^2/4 - 1/2r^2)cm
=2 x 22/7 x14=22 x 4
