Area of shaded part = Area of triangle - Area of semi circle

Area of triangle = ½ bh

⇒ Area = ½ • 51 • 36 cm² = 51 • 18 cm²

⇒ Area = 918 cm²

Now we know, area of semi-circle = ½ πr²

∵ r = d/2, ⇒ r = 30/2 cm = 15 cm.

∴ Area = ½ × 3.14 × (15)² = 1.57 × 225 cm² = 353.25 cm²

So, area of shaded region = 918 cm² - 353.25 cm²

⇒ Area_shaded = 564.75 cm² (Answer)
