find the area of the shaded part of rectangle of rectangle 9 metre 21m ,15 m

please explain it step by step by solving at Sunday my math exam is there and pls answer if ur last movement learner

Answer:

let the rectangle be ABCD

and the triangle be AEF

Now,

area of the traingle = length x breadth

= 21 x 15

= 315m²

Again,

in traingle AEF,

AE is the base with the length of 6m

and the height of the traingle is 21m ( length of AB will be taken as the height of the traingle)

thus,

area of triangle AEF = 1 x 6 x 21

= 63m²

Now,

area of the shaded region = area of rectangle - area of triangle

therefore,

area of shaded region = 315 - 63

= 252m²
