1) area of shaded region=area of square-area of semicircle
=14×14-22/7×7×7
=196-154
=42m^3
2)area of shaded region=area of larger hemicircle-area of smaller heisphere
=πR^2-πr^2
=π{(21)^2-(14)^2}
=π(21-14)(21-14)
=22/7. ×7×7
=154m^2
