It's quite easy....

First of all... there's a rectangle of sides 10 cm &14cm

'nd a semi-circle of diameter 14cm(so it's radius will be 7cm)

Area of shaded portion= Area of rectangle- area of semi-circle

=(14×10)-(22/7×7²/2)

=140-77

63cm²

area of rectangle =l*b

= 14*10

=140cm^2

area of semi circle=1/2*Πr^2

=1/2*22/7*7*7

=77cm^2

area of shaded region= area of rectangle - area of semi circle

=140-77

=63cm^2
