Here is your answer
Length of big rectangle is 19.6 m
Breadth is 15 m

Area of big rectangle is = 19.6 × 15
= 294 sq.m

Now for Small rectangle
Length is 19.6 - 5.4 = 14.2 m
Breadth is 15 - 2 -2 = 11 m

Area of small rectangle = 14.2 × 11
= 156.2 sq.m

Now

Area of Shaded portion is
= 294 - 156.2
= 137.8 sq.m

Therefore Area of Shaded portion is 137.8 sq.m

Answer:

From the given figure, it shown that there are two rectangles.

For outer rectangle, Length = 19.6 m and Width = 15 m

∴ Area of outer rectangle = L × W

                                       = 19.6 × 15

                                       = 294 m²

∴ Area of outer rectangle = 294 m²

Now, For inner rectangle,  Length = 19.6 m - 5.4 m = 14.2 m

                                         Width = 15 m - 2 m - 2 m = 11 m

∴ Area of inner rectangle = L × W

                                       = 14.2 × 11

                                       = 156.2 m²

∴ Area of inner rectangle = 156.2 m²

∴ Area of shaded portion = Area of outer rectangle - Area of inner rectangle

                                       = 294 - 156.2

                                       = 137.8 m²

∴ Area of shaded portion =  137.8 m²
