ANSWER

area of shaded region = area of circle × 1/4 - area of square

= πr^2 /4 - a^2

here r^2 = radius of cicle^2 = (14) ^2 + (14) ^2 {by pythagourous theorem}

r^2 = 392 cm

so our answere is

=>π(392)/4 - 196

=>155.16 cm^2

hope it helps
