area of shaded region =
area of semi larger circle+area of smaller semi circle + area of still smaller circle
= πr²/2 + πr²/2 + πr²/2
=π(r²/2 + r²/2 + r²/2)
=π(21*21/4 + 7*7/2 + 7*7/4)
=π(441/4 + 49/2 + 49/4)
=22/7(147)
=22*21
=462cm
