Hey Buddy

Here's The Answer

-------------------------------------------------------

We know ABCD is a square.

To find the area of shaded region

=> Area = Area of square - ( Area of FAE + Area of CDF + Area of CBE )

Now

AREA OF SQAURE

=> Area1 = side × side

=> Area1 = 20 × 20

=> Area1 = 400 cm²

AREA OF FAE

=> Area2 = 1/2 × base × height

=> Area2 = 1/2 × 10 × 10

=> Area2 = 50 cm²

AREA OF CDF

=> Area3= 1/2 × base × height

=> Area3 = 1/2 × 10 × 20

=> Area3 = 100 cm²

AREA OF CBE

=> Area4 = 1/2 × base × height

= 1/2 × base × height => Area4 = 1/2 × 10 × 20

0=> Area4 = 100 cm²

Now, area of shaded region

=> Area = 400 - ( 50 + 100 + 100 )

=> Area = 400 - 250

=> Area = 150 cm²

So the area of shaded region is 150 cm²

Hope It Helps
