Since,

ABC is an triangle with height 6cm and base 9cm So , Area of triangle ABC=1/2×h×b

=9×3

=27 sq. cm

since,

FGH is an equilateral triangle

Area of equilateral triangle=√3/4×a×a

=10.81 sq. cm

since,

BCDG is an Rectangle

Area of Rectangle=length×breadth

=9×18. ......(26cm-8cm)

=162sq cm

since,

GEFH is an rectangle (l=8cm,b=5cm)

Area of rectangle=l×b

=8×5

=40 sq. cm

Area of shaded region = Sum of all the area

=(27+10.81+162+40)=239.81 sq. cm Answer
