Given:-

→side of square is 14 cm

Solution:-

→ side of a square is 14 cm so it's diameter will also 14 cm.

→r =  \frac{d}{2}

→r =  \frac{14}{2}

→r = 7cm

→ar(shaded region ) = ar(square) -ar(circle)

= (14)² - π r²

→196 -  \frac{22}{7}  \times 7 \times 7

→196 - 154

→42 {cm}^{2}

Hence, the area of shaded region is 42 cm²
