area of the circle = π

= 22/7 × 2.1 × 2.1

= 97.02/7

= 13.86 m ²

since there are 4 semicircles therefore 2 circles are there = 2 × 13.86

= 27.72 m ²

area of the rectangle = l × b

= 25 × 16

= 400

area of the shaded region =

area of the rectangle - area of the circle

= 400 - 27.72

= 372.28 m ²
