area of shaded region is = area of two similar trangle+ area of one rectangle.
I,e.
Area of one trangle =1/2(base×altitude). altitude=4cm. by p.g.t theorem
=>. 1/2(3×4)
=>. 6cm²
so, area of two trangle is= 2×6=12cm²
Now area of rectangle =(length× breadth)
length=10cm
breadth =6cm
so, area is = 60cm²
so, area of shaded region =(12+60)cm²=72cm²
