All angles are 90° then these are squares
side of smaller square is 2+2=4
Area smaller square is side×side=4×4=16
Now,Side of larger square is 9
then area of larger square =side×side =9×9=81
Now area of shaded region =area of larger square-area of smaller square
=81-16=65cm^2
