to find shaded area we need to find the area of big circle, then we need to to subtract the area of Inner two circles and the rectangle.

*note that, it feels like 1245 should not be the answer* because the answer I got is 311.25 cm²

so here, see the big circle.. it is having 21 cm diameter. or radius 21/2

first we will find the area of the high circle

=πr²

=22/7×21/2×21/2

=11×3×21/2

= 693/2

=346.5 cm²

now we will find the area of 2 Circle which is inside of the big circle.

{(Diameter =3.5, so r=3.5/2)}

=2 (πr²)

=2 (22/7×3.5/2×3.5/2).

= 2 (9.625)

= 19.25 cm²

now, let's find the last area of Rectangle

= l×b

= 8×2

= 16 cm²

so Now, areas of shaded region =

Area of Big circle - Area of 2 Circle - area of Rectangle

= 346.5-19.25-16

=311.25 Cm²
