radius of semicircle=(14-6)/4= 2 cm

Area of the non shaded part = 4*area of semicircle+ square

Area of the non shaded part = 4*π*2²*(1/2)+4*4

Area of the non shaded part=8*(22/7)+16

Area of the non shaded part=41.142 cm²

Area of the shaded part = Area of the large square - Area of the non shaded  

Area of the shaded part =196-41.142 = 154.858  cm²
