Required area = area of the square - the area if two semicircles
side of square is 7cm
radius of semicircle is (7/2) cm
area of the square is 49 cm
area of one semicircle is (π(7/2)^2)/2 which is equal to 19.25cm

but there are 2 semicircles so 19.25×2 = 38.5

so required area is 49 - 38.5 = 10.5cm
