Given :   AC = 20cm AB  = 15cm and O is the Centre of the circle  

To Find :  area of the shaded region

Solution:

AC = 20 Cm

AB = 15 cm

BC is Diameter as it passes through O center of circle

Hence ∠BAC right angle

=> BC² = AB² + AC²  = 20² + 15²

=> BC = 25  cm

Diameter = 25 cm

Radius = 25/2 cm

Area of Semicircle = (1/2) π (25/2)²   =  625π/8  = 245.4  cm²

Area of Right angle = (1/2) * 15* 20  = 150 cm²

area of the shaded region  = 245.4 - 150  =  95.4 cm²
