Area of Shaded region = 42 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of Square PAST = 14 * 14 = 196 cm²

ALS  & PLT are semicircle

both have diameter = AS = PT = Square Side = 14 cm

Radius of each semicircle = 7 cm

both circle will just touch each other ,(no intersection)

Area of Each Semi circle = (1/2)πr²

= (1/2)(22/7)*7²

= 77 cm²

Area of both semicircles = 77 + 77 = 154 cm²

Area of Shaded region = 196 - 154  = 42 cm²
