required area = area of the square

the area if two semicircles side of square is 7cm radius of semicircle is (7/2) cm area

of the square is 49 cm area of one semicircle is (Tm(7/2)^2)/2

which is equal to 19.25cm but there are 2 semicircles

so 19.25x2 38.5

so required area is 49 -38.5 =10.5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

required area = area of the square - the area

if two semicircles

side of square is 7cm radius of semicircle is (7/2) cm

area of the square is 49 cm

area of one semicircle is (17(7/2)^2)/2 which is equal to 19.25cm

but there are 2 semicircles so 19.25x2 = 38.5

so required area is 49 - 38.5 = 10.5cm =

i hope this helps
