side of square =3.5+3.5=7
ar.square -4×area of quadrant = area of shaded region
7×7-4×1÷4×22÷7 ×3.5×3.5
49-22÷7×12.5
49 - 3.14 × 12.5
49 - 39.2857143
9.7142857 cm2 = area of shaded region
