Let r be the readius of the inner circle and R be the radius of the bigger circle.

Diameter of the inner circle

=Diameter of bigger circle-(4+4)

=14-8=6m

Radius of the inner circle=r=3m

Radius of the inner circle=r=3mRadius of the bigger circle=R=7m

AREA OF THE SHADED REGION=AREA OF THE BIGGER CIRCLE-AREA OF THE INNER CIRCLE

AREA OF THE INNER CIRCLE

=πr² sq.units

=π(3)²

=9π m²

AREA OF THE BIGGER CIRCLE

=πR² sq.units

=π(7)²

=49π m²

AREA OF THE SHADED REGION

=AREA OF THE BIGGER CIRCLE-AREA OF THE INNER CIRCLE

=49π - 9π

=40π

=40 × 3.14

=125.6 m²
