Ans.. 110 cm square.

Step-by-step explanation:

First Calculate Area of Rectangle ABCD

Area= l×b

18×10=180 cm square.

Now ...

Area of Triangle BCE

height=BC=10 cm.

base=AB-DE=8cm.

Area =

 \frac{1}{2}   \times base \times height

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 8 \times 10 = 40 \: cm \: square

And.

Area of Triangle EDF.

height=DE=10 cm.

base=DF=6 cm.

Area=

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 6 \times 10 = 30 \: cm \: square

Now.. Add area of Both Triangle And substract from Area of Rectangle...

Total Area of Triangle=30+40=70 cm square..

Area of shaded portion...

Area of Reactangle-Total area of Triangle

= 180-70

= 110 cm square...
