So the dia of the circle=21 cm

so radius r=21/2 cm

Area of the circle=πr²

=22/7 *( 21/2)* (21/2)

=11*3*21=693 cm²

Now area of the ΔQAB

=1/2*AB*QC

=1/2*7*7=49/2 cm²

So are of 4 triangles=49/2*4=49*2=98 cm²

area of the square =7*7=49

thus area of white part

=98+49=147 cm²

So area of shaded portion

=693-147=546 cm²
