Perimeter of the square field = 4 x side = 4 x 70 m

= 280 m Perimeter of rectangular field

= 2 (length + breadth)

= 2 (50 m + 40 m)

= 2 x 90 m

= 180 m

∴ Square field has greater perimeter by 280 m – 180 m = 100 m
