Given:-

•Length of side is 8cm.

To Find:-

•Find the area of square.

Solution:-

we have,

  • side = 8cm

Using Formula:

 \:  \:   \sf \: area \:of \: square =  {(side)}^{2}

Now substitute the values,

 \:  \:  \sf \: area \: of \: square =  {(8)}^{2}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: area \: of \: square = 64 {cm}^{2}

Hence,area of square is 64cn^2.

Extra Info...

 \:  \:  \sf \: perimeter \: of \: square = 4 \times side \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: perimeter \: of \: rectangle = 2(length + breadth) \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: area \: of \: rectangle = length  \times breadth \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: length\: of \: rectangle =  \frac{area}{breadth} \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: breadth \: of \: rectangle =  \frac{area}{length}

Answer

Hence, Area of square will be 64 Sq. cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the area of the square.

As per question,

We have,

Side of square = 8 cm

As we know that,

Square is a quadrilateral whose all sides are equal.

The area of square can be determined by using the formula Area = Side^2

So, for determining the area of square we will put the value of side of square in above formula,

Thus we will get the area of square as,

Area = 8^2\\=>Area = 8\times 8\\=>Area = 64\:cm^2
