If radius of circle is 8 then its diameter will be 16.hence the side of square s is also 16

from this we can write area of square=s²=16*16=196

dipankar7493: answer was 128cm^(2)
anr4u97: Sorry for inconvenience. Here diameter will be equal to diagnol of square. If side of sqare is a then a^2+a^2=16^2.from this we get 2a^2=256 and a^2=128 which is area of square.
