side of square = 16/√2
side^2 = 256/2
area = 128cm^2

diagonal of the square = diameter of the circle

= 2(8)

= 16

let one side of the square be a

diagonal = √2 a

16 = √2 a

a = 16 / √2

area of square = a^2

=(16/ √2)^2

=256/2

= 128
