Solution

Given :-

  • Sides are 3 cm and 7 cm.
  • Height between them is 4 cm.

To Find :-

  • The area of trapezium.

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

As we know that :-

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × sum of parallel sides × height

Putting the respective value,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( 3 + 7 ) × 4

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × 10 × 4

Area of trapezium = 5 × 4

Area of trapezium = 20

Therefore,

The area of trapezium is 20 cm².

Hence,

Option b) 20 cm² is correct option.

Given :-

  • Sides = 3 cm & 7 cm.
  • Height between them = 4 cm.

To Find :-

  • Area of trapezium.

As we know that :-

Area of trapezium = \sf\dfrac{1}{2} × sum of parallel sides × height

Putting the respective value,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × ( 3 + 7 ) × 4

= 1/2 × 10 × 4

= 5 × 4

= 20

Therefore,

Area of the trapezium is 20 cm².

Hence,

Option b) 20 cm² is correct answer.
