so Area of trapezium is 1/2×( sum of its parallel side) ×height

so =1/2×(80+56) ×30

=1/2×136×30

=136×15

  • The area of the trapezium.

SOLUTION :-

Trapezium :- A closed figure having two opposite parallel sides and two opposite non parallel sides.

As we know that, area of trapezium is given by,

Area = 1/2 (sum of parallel sides) × h.

⇒ Area = 1/2(80 + 56) × 30

⇒ Area = 1/2(136) × 30

⇒ Area = 136 × 15

Area = 2040 .

Hence the area of trapezium is 2040 .
