Hey sup,

Given, height=4.5
Base=8.5

Area of triangle= 1/2 × height × base.
=1/2 ×4.5 ×8.5
=1/2 × 38.25
=19.125

Hope it helps.

Maxine: thanks :)
kushanaanandp4ac8a: You are welcome.

Question:

To Find the area of the triangle in the image

Given:

  • Height of the triangle = 4.5 cm

  • Base of the triangle = 8.5 cm

To Find:

  • Area of the triangle

Formula Used:

\textsf{area of triangle}=\frac{1}{2}\times base\times height

Solution:

Given ,

  • Height of the triangle = 4.5 cm

  • Base of the triangle = 8.5 cm

To find the area of the triangle

\textsf{area of triangle}=\frac{1}{2}\times base\times height

h = 4.5 cm

b = 8.5 cm

\textsf{area of triangle}=\frac{1}{2}\times base\times height\\\\\\\textsf{area of triangle}=\frac{1}{2}\times 8.5 \times 4.5\\\\\\\textsf{area of triangle}=\frac{1}{2}\times38.25\\\\\\\textsf{area of triangle}=19.125cm^2

Area of triangle = 19.125 cm²

Answer:

19.125 cm²
