We have a line x+y= 6  

Now for x and y intercept

Let x= 0

0+y= 6

y=6   Therefore (0,6) is the solution of the given equation

Now

Let y=0

x+0=6

x=6 Therefore (6,0) is the solution of the  given equation

Plotting the graph which is attached below

we have triangle with base; b= 6 units and height ;h = 6 units
