Find the area of the triangle formed by the point (2, 3), (-1, 0), (2, -4)

 \sf{ \blue{answer}{} }{}

So, Let us mark the points on a paper

So area of the triangle is = 1/bh

Where b = base and h = height

base = 7 from (3--4)

Height = 3 [2-(-1)]

So by the formula

area = 1/2bh

=> 1/2*7*3

21/2

= 10.5 sq cm
