Answer:

Area of triangle = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A ( 2 , 3 ) , B ( 4 , 5 ) and C ( 6 , - 3 )

To find : Find the area of the triangle formed by the three points A ( 2 , 3 ) , B ( 4 , 5 ) and C ( 6 , - 3 )

Solution :

A ( 2 , 3 ) , B ( 4 , 5 ) and C ( 6 , - 3 )

Area of triangle = 1 /2  x1 ( y 2 - y 3 }) + x 2( y 3 - y 1 ) + x 3 (y 1 - y 2 }

= 1/2{2(5 - (3)) + 4(- 3 - 3) + 6(3 - 5)\}

= 1 / 2 ( 5 + 3 ) + 4( -  6 ) + 6 ( - 2 ) * l

= 2 2 ( 1 6 - 2 4 - 1 2 )

= ( 1 6 - 3 6 )

= 1/2  (20)

Area of triangle = 10
