As the triangle is right angled , the area of the triangle OPQ = 1/2 × Base × height
For the triangle OPQ -
Base = OP = 1 unit
height = OQ = 1 unit
Area of the triangle OPQ = 1/2 × OP × OQ
= 1/2 sq. units
