HERE IS YOUR ANSWER.....

AREA OF TRIANGLE= 1/2*BASE*HEIGHT

                                  =1/2*5*3

                                   =15/2 CM.^2

                                   =7.5 CM^2

area of triangle =

 \frac{1}{2} \times base \: \times \: height

given base = 5 cm

height = 3 cm

 \frac{1}{2} \times 5 \times 3 = \frac{15}{2}

= 7.5 cm square
