Find the area of the triangle using Heron's formula 40m,40m,40m

Given:-

  • Sides of triangle are 40 m, 40 m and 40 m.

To find:-

  • Area of triangle by using heron's formula.

Solution:-

We know , Heron's formula is :

Area of triangle = √s(s - a) (s - b) (s - c)

So,

s = 40 + 40 + 40/2

s = 120/2

s = 60

Area of triangle:

➝ √60 (60 - 40) (60 - 40) (60 - 40)

➝ √60 × 20 × 20 × 20

➝ √480000

➝ 692.82

Therefore,

Area of triangle is 692.82 m².
