Area of triangle
 =  \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h \\  =  \frac{1}{2} \times 9.6 \times 5 \\  = 4.8 \times 5 \\  = 24 {cm}^{2}.

Hope this will help you.

Given-:

Base = 9.6cm

Height =5cm

Area of triangle = 1÷2(base × height)

=1÷2(9.6×5)

=1÷2(96÷10×5)

=1÷2(48)

=1÷2×48

= 24 square cm

Hence the area of triangle is 24 square cm
