Find the area of the triangle whose base is 80 cm and height is 31.4cm .​

area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 80 \times 31.4 \: cm {}^{2}  \\  = 1256 \: cm {}^{2}

Area of given triangle will be 1256 cm² .

Solution

As we know that formula used for area of triangle is -

 \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h \\

So, here

→Base = 80cm

→ height = 31.4 cm

Then area -

 \frac{1}{2}  \times 80 \times 31.4 = 1256 {cm}^{2}  \\
