Find the area of the triangle whose perimeter is 180 cm and two of its sides are of lengths 80 cm and 30 cm. Also, calculate the altitude of the triangle corresponding to the shortest side.

Third side= 180-(80+30)

= 70 cm

S= (80+30+70)/2 = 90 cm

Area= √ 90(90-80)(90-30)(90-70)

= √ 90× 10× 60 × 20

=√ 3×3×2×5×2×5×3×2×2×5×2×2×5

= √3×3×3×2×2×2×2×2×2×5×5×5×5

= 3×2×2×2×5×5√3

= 600√3 cm²

Area= ½×b×h

= ½×30×h= 600√3

= 15h= 600√3

h= 600√3/15

h= 40√3 cm.
