find the area of the triangle whose side are 150 cm , 120 cm and 90 cm. Also find the length at the altitude drawn from opposite vertex on the longest side​

Answer:

let assum AB =120 BC =90 and AC =150

SO AB²= 14400 BC²= 8100 and AC²= 22500

That mean AB² + BC² = AC²

SO TRIANGLE ABC is right angel triangle at angel B ID 90⁰

SO Area = 1÷2 × base × ALTITUDE

= 1÷2 × 90 ×120

5400 cm²

for altitude

Area = 1÷2 × base × ALTITUDE

5400= 1÷2×150 ×AL

5400×2= 150 × AL

10800÷150 =AL

SO ALTITUDE = 72CM
