1) The sides of the triangle given in the question is of the right angled triangle is it satisfy the rule of the Pythagoras theorem.

2) The area of the right angled triangle is 1/2 Base×height.

3) As per the triangle given the base is 8 cm and height is 6 cm.

4) So the area is 1/2×6×8 = 24 cm².

The area of the given triangle is 24 cm².
