Find the area of the triangle whose sides measure 18 cm 24 cm and 30 cm .Also find it's height corresponding to the smallest side

Here,
a=18cm b=24cm c=30cm
So,
Using Heron's formula,
Area of triangle
=
  \sqrt{s{(s - a)}{(s - b)}{(s - c)}}
=
 \sqrt{36(36- 18)(36 - 24)(36 - 30)}
  = \sqrt{36 \times 18 \times 12 \times 6}
 =  \sqrt{6 \times 6 \times 3 \times 3 \times 2 \times 3 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 2}
=6x3x3x2x2
=216 cmsq.



Its height corresponding to the smallest side
= Area ÷ a
= 216/18
= 12cm.
