X1=2 , X2=-1 , X3=2

Y1=3 , Y2=0 , Y3= -4

Area of the triangle =1/2 {x1(y2-y3) + x2(y3-y1) + x3(y1-y2)}

=1/2 {2(0-(-4)) + (-1) (-4-3) + 2(3-0)}

=1/2 {8-(-7)+6}

=1/2 {8+7+6}

=1/2 ×21

=21/2
