Find the area of the triangle whose vertices are (-5 , 7) , (-4 , -5) and (4 , 5).

∆=1/2{x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)}
=1/2{-5(-5-5)-4(5-7)+4(7+5)}
=1/2{50+8+48)
=1/2{106}
=53
therefore, area of ∆=53unit2
